The Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology (BCom IT) is unique in
Commerce, gives information about management with business. The student will take
courses in applied computer networks, systems design and principles. The B.Com
(Information Technology) a three year under graduate programme was introduced in the
Academic year 2011-2012 with the sanctioned strength of 50 intake.
The sanctioned
strength was increased to 60 in the year 2014-15. And in the year 2017-18 the strength is
66. The department has received funds from UGC, ICSSR and DST-EDI.
