"PCASIANS" ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Introduction

The “PCASIANS” Alumni Association of Pollachi College of Arts and Science (PCAS) is an intense source of enrichment for the professional network and authentically conveys the values and principles of our institution.
Connecting fellow alumni is one way to find career and social opportunities, but reconnecting with past professors can offer a wealth of opportunities as well. Alumni associations offer a number of ways to give back, including gifts, endowments, membership fees, and volunteer opportunities.
The PCASIANS Alumni Committee of PCAS was started in the year 2024. The alumni association has been registered on 2nd April 2024.

Objectives:

To facilitate interaction between old students of all departments of PCAS.
To promote and support research and academic activities of the institution.
To promote social and cultural activities of former and current students of PCAS departments.
To encourage and appreciate academic and other outstanding achievements of departments/faculty.
To establish endowments and scholarships.
To award incentives/prizes for outstanding contributions of students.
To raise and administer funds for the society (contribution-collection).
To act as a discriminating agency for transmitting knowledge, helping students find job opportunities through placement cells, and other academic works in India and abroad.
To provide service to the people.
To promote internship programs and hands-on training from the association to the student community of PCAS.
