VISION

We support the free exchange of ideas and information by promoting the widest possible access to our materials. To provide a student-centred learning environment that facilitates transference of information and to cater to the needs of its users.


MISSION

Our library facilitates access to right Information and help the students to explore their potential. To promote intellectual growth and creativity by facilitating access to information resources, teaching the effective use of information resources and critical evaluation skills, research assistance and lifelong learning activities. PCAS Library is open and is accessible for students and staff members on all working days between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The digital library section connected with internet hub is provided for access to the users.


LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS

Library is a Place of Individual Study, Library members should maintain an atmosphere of dignity, peace and silence within the Library.
Kindly place your personal belongings in the Locker/Cupboard provided in the library, the library is not responsible for any loss of item.
Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library. All library users must enter their names, department and Id number in the attendance register at entry gate.
The Library Follows Open Access System.
Use of Cellular Phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphones is strictly prohibited in the library.
Own Textbooks, printed materials and issued books are not allowed inside the library.
Any kind of marking, underlining, clipping of books is absolutely forbidden. Readers shall be held responsible for any damage done to the book belonging to the Library and shall be required to replace such book or pay the value thereof.
Faculty may borrow up to 5 books for a period of 1 month, and renewal shall be done at the time of its return.
Students can borrow 2 books for a period of 15 days, and are allowed 1 renewal.
Co-operation of users is solicited to keep the library premises clean.
The library is kept open on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Eatables, beverages or tobacco in any form are not allowed inside the library No-dues certificate will be issued at the time of leaving the institute only on return of all the materials borrowed and payment of overdue charges made, if any.
The double cost of the book will have to pay if the issued book is lost.
The Library may accept donation of manuscripts, books, periodicals etc. from the donors. Such donations once accepted and will become the absolute property of the college.
All the members of the Library team are available for any assistance you may need in using the library resources, facilities, and services. The library will welcome any suggestion for better use of library facilities.
